Detailed List of DFMR NEW (2017) Fishing License Fee

* All annual licenses are valid from Jan-Dec, non-transferable, and only first time licenses are eligible to be prorated.

Fishing Licenses Fee (EC$) Details
Class A – LOCAL annual commercial $250.00 Under 35ft or NO vessel. Include two crew, the captain and one vessel
Class B - LOCAL annual commercial $1,000.00 Exceeds 36ft, but less than 60ft. Include two crew, the captain and one vessel
Class C LOCAL annual industrial $5,000.00 Vessel must be 61ft to 150 ft and owned by a belonger, BUT does not have to be locally based. A non-belonger cannot hold shares, partnership or any form of ownership of a local industrial licensed fishing vessel. Includes all crew, the captain and one vessel. Only the captain shall be issued a fisher ID, crew details shall be on a vessel certificate
Class D - LOCAL annual sport $1,000.00 Includes all crew, the captain, all guests and all vessels owned by one company. The fee would cover moorings and marine park fees
Class E - LOCAL annual subsistence $100.00 Includes ONE crew, the captain and one vessel. Allowed to sell excess fish (not more than 100lbs total per year)
Class F - VISITOR weekly sport $150.00 ONLY line, rods, reels. To fish from shore, their private vessel or otherwise. Vessels subject to cruising permit fees
Class G - NON- BELONGER/NON- RESIDENT annual sport $5,000.00 Vessel owned by a non-belonger and not locally based. Includes all crew, the captain, all guests and one vessel. Holders of this license are NOT subject to cruising permit fees. They are required to submit a manifest to HM Customs in person or via email
Class H - NON- BELONGER/NON- RESIDENT annual industrial 10% of the value of the total allowable catch per species, as specified on the license Vessel size 61-150ft. Includes all crew, the captain and one vessel. Only the captain shall be issued a fisher ID, crew details shall be on a vessel certificate

A one year warranty and free servicing applies to anchors and moorings installed by DFMR for general wear and tear (except for negligent acts). Although the moorings, anchors, sand screws or other services were rendered or installed by the Government of Anguilla DFMR, the Government of Anguilla does not bear any responsibility for any loss or injury resulting from their use. Non-refundable 50% deposit of total cost required before the commencement of services, and balance due five working days upon completion of services.
